Pastor Tunde Bakare, the founder and senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church has revealed the cause of his disappointing loss at the APC Presidential Primary elections that took place some days ago.
The cleric in his words has revealed
the reason for having zero at the polls thus, “my intolerance for a certain kind of politics gave me zero votes at the just conducted Special Convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC”.
The cleric disclosed this in a message delivered at the headquarters of his Oregun-based Citadel Global Community Church, in a sermon titled, ‘A new Nigeria is still possible.
In his words, he continued in respect of the reason for the zero votes at the primary, “This is why we confidently wear our zero votes as a badge of zero tolerance for a certain kind of politics.
Our confidence is rooted in Daniel 4:17: It is to Almighty God I will ultimately give account, and it is in Him I will continually trust despite what may today appear to be a setback.
There is still a cause and there is still a nation to transform.
Pastor Tunde Bakare scored zero votes at the APC primaries to the Surprise of many as he has for long prophesied of his divine mandate of being the forthcoming 16th president of the nation.
He has since congratulated the winner, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, who is also the national leader of the party. He has also called for full support in fostering the success of the nation.
Despite his loss at the polls, he is still committed to a successful Nigeria, through a conscious move for co-existence and love in the nation.
