The Senior Pastor of the Censers Church Worldwide, Pastor Ugochukwu Anike, has in a recent video posted on Facebook warned Christians not to marry because of love.
He said you should marry because of the kingdom you represent. Buttressing his points, he said you could see a man who is rich and handsome and fall for him, but you won’t marry him because he is an unbeliever.
His lifestyle may not support the “kingdom” you come from. If that is the case, you have to sacrifice that love and forget about him.
He affirmed that the kingdom of God should be first on the list when it comes to marriage, not love. This implies that you may have to settle for anyone God prepares for you, not minding his or her physical features.
Having said this, the cleric advised his members to avoid loving people who don’t know anything about God because they may turn them into unbelievers.
He referred to one of his spiritual daughters who married an unbeliever with the hope of converting him. Unfortunately, the man turned her into an unbeliever.
Therefore, don’t marry to fulfil your will, marry to fulfil the will of God because you have been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ, he concluded.
