Former militant of Niger Delta Asari Dokubo has come out to condemn Peter obi movement and in his statement he said any Muslim who joins in the Obidient Movement is not a true movement.
It is no longer news that former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi has been gaining widespread support across Nigeria since he emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the Labour party.
The youthful population are said to be backing Mr Peter Obi to succeed Muhammadu Buhari as the next president of Nigeria.
It is said that Peter Obi is turning to be a movement in Nigeria with more people coming out to identify with him as we approach the 2023 general elections.
Meanwhile, a former Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo is not in line with Peter Obi’s movement that has been gaining ground in Nigeria.
Speaking yesterday during a live Facebook session, Asari Dokubo described Obi’s movement as anti Muslim.
According to him, Peter Obi supporters do not like Muslim. He said no true Muslim will be supporting Peter Obi.
“Any Muslim who is part of Obidient Movement is not a Muslim.” Asari Dokubo claimed.
According to him, as things are at the movement, Peter Obi is running a Christian-Christian ticket by picking Doyin Okupe as his running mate.
“Obi is running a Christian-Christian ticket. Atiku is running a Muslim-Christian ticket, while Asiwaju Tinubu is a Muslim-Muslim ticket. Obi as it stands is running a southerner-Southern Christian ticket.”
