Joshua will have the opportunity to challenge Fury for the WBC world championship later in 2022 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium despite his recent losing streak.

Currently, Fury and Joshua have publicly agreed to terms for a fight on December 3 that include a 60/40 split in Fury’s favour with a 50/50 split in the event of a rematch if “AJ” prevails.

Contracts for the fight have not yet been signed, but “The Gypsy King” is growing impatient.

The 34-year-old recently set a deadline of Monday night for Joshua to sign his portion of the agreement, and he insisted that if Joshua misses the deadline, he will look for a replacement opponent.

“Monday is the deadline,” Fury told talkSPORT Fight Night on Saturday.

“If they don’t sign the contract by Monday, he’s out the window and he’ll be exposed for the s***house he is!”

Unfazed by the drama surrounding his next fight, Joshua went to the Meriden Estate in Watford on Saturday night and spent some time giving back to his community.

In front of a sizable crowd of fans, the 32-year-old was filmed giving out gifts, posing for photos, and shadowboxing before taking out a wad of cash from his bag and giving it to people.

Later, in response to worries that his planned fight with Fury is in danger of falling through, AJ took to social media.

“I’ve been signing contracts for years,” Joshua said.

“It ain’t in my hands, it’s with a legal team. That’s why you hire lawyers.

“If you know the history of boxing, you make sure you get your legal terms right. That’s why you’ve got good management and good lawyers.

“So, of course, I’m going to sign the contract.

“It’s just with some lawyers at the minute.”
