The Founder/CEO of Chybee Entrepreneurship Foundation For Women and Youths, Lady Amb. Chinyere Miriam Chukwudi Zimako, has posited that the goal of her Foundation goes beyond the empowerment of Entrepreneurs.
She made this clear on Saturday, the 2nd of May 2026 at the Multi Purpose Hall of the Orchid Hotel,DBS Rd, Asaba, Delta State, during her Opening Remarks at the African Festival of Culture and Empowerment, which featured: Fashion Exhibition, Grant Presentation and AFCE Awards.
In her words: “” At Chybee Entrepreneurship Foundation,our Mission goes beyond Entrepreneurship.
We are building confidence. We are creating access. We are raising a generation that understands that empowerment is not given, but cultivated.
The occasion was also used to provide women and youths with Grants of #100,000 each to over 50 Beneficiaries. And on Monday the 4th of May, a Mentoring/ Training Program took place at the NUJ Secretariat, Miriam Babaginda Rd,Asaba.
The Training Program was facilitated by FENNORICA Oy a High- Tech Company from Finland. They taught the Participants on how to boost their Businesses with modern Technology.
Mr. James Orivri, Saana Vihersaari and Hanny Kykyla came all the way from Finland to execute the Training Program. The occasion was also used to celebrate the African Culture with a colorful Fashion Parade it was awesome.
However, Amb. Chinyere Zimako reminded the audience that culture is not just in our attire,our food or our music, but is also in our ability to be resilient, our ability to rise, again and again,no matter the odds.
She continued:”” As an Ambassador Of Peace I strongly believe that culture is one of the greatest tools we have to unite people. Through the promotion of culture, the celebration of our diverse cultures and the preservation of our values,we can build stronger and more inclusive communities.
Africa is rich in diversity, with different languages, traditions and identities, yet one people. It is our responsibility to promote unity in diversity and ensure that our cultural heritage is not lost, but preserved and passed on to future generations.
This is because when we keep our cultural values alive,we keep our identity alive. Culture alone is not enough,we must match culture with capacity. We must match pride with productivity and we must move from potential to performance.
That is why platforms like this are important, because they remind us that empowerment is not a Solo– Journey,it is a collective responsibility.””. She thanked her Partners and Supporters for believing in the Vision and admonished young people all over Africa to understand that their backgrounds does not define their future.
The Vision of Chybee is to empower 1 Million Women and Youths across Africa with the tools and resources they require to grow their Businesses, because if you empower a Woman, you empower a Nation. In all it was a grand event and everyone went home with broad smiles on their faces.
