Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has backed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s choice to run on a Muslim-Muslim Ticket.
Oshiomhole spoke on the heels of the controversy that has been greeting the choice of Tinubu to contest with Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate despite being of the same religion.
According to a report by Daily Post, Oshiomhole noted that Tinubu would take bold steps if elected President of Nigeria in 2023.
To back his point, Osiomhole argued that for Tinubu to go against the tides and oppositions to pick a fellow Muslim, it means that he would stand firm and take bold decisions that will move Nigeria forward.

The former Governor of Edo State said that he totally backs Tinubu on the choice he has made.
He added that Nigerians have always balanced the ticket over the years having Muslim-Christian ticket and vice versa.
Yet, that has taken the country nowhere, rather, there is till high level of poverty in the land. He lauded Shettima saying that he is well-read, accomplished, competent and duly awarded both in Nigeria and overseas.
Oshiomhole argued that in view of Tinubu’s choice to run with Shettima, he has trust in the ticket as he believes that the two men can change the situation of Nigeria for the benefit of the masses.
He further said if the number of Churches and Mosques in Nigeria were to be factories, then poverty would be defeated in Nigeria.
