A communal clash broke out on Monday in 3rd Avenue area of Gwarinpa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Bellnewsonline.com sighted several videos which showed people injured.
It was learned that the clash occurred between some Gbagyi and Hausa tricycle operators.
“The fighting is between Gbagyi and Hausa Keke Napep riders,” a source told the press.
“It’s happening on 3rd Avenue where I live, and we can’t go out. Several persons have been injured.” Another source stated.
This newspaper, however, could not independently confirm the exact cause of the clash as of the time of publishing this report.
Meanwhile, the police could not be reached for comments or reactions. The Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, did not respond to phone calls and text messages.
