Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring tight security in his constituency and across Anambra State. He pledged unwavering support to security agencies in safeguarding the region.
Senator Ubah made this assertion while presenting 150 walkie-talkies, 100 High Definition Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, 100 solar-powered street lights, a walkie-talkie repeater, and motorbikes to leaders of the Ukpor community at his Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi residence.
This generous gesture extended by Senator Ubah also benefited neighboring communities such as Nnobi, Awka-Etiti, Abatete, Enugwu-Agidi, and Igboukwu. He urged residents of Ukpor to remain vigilant while assuring them of his continuous support for security agencies in terms of communication and surveillance.
In response, Chief Izuchukwu Nwawulu, the President-General of Ukpor, expressed profound gratitude to Senator Ubah for his extraordinary efforts in enhancing the security of lives and properties in Anambra South. Nwawulu praised Senator Ubah for his remarkable representation of the Senatorial District in the Red Chamber and prayed for his continued wisdom, divine guidance, and protection.
Also present at the event were Ukpor community leaders, alongside the Minority Leader of the Anambra State Legislature and Member representing Nnewi South 2 State Constituency, Honorable Johnbosco Akaegbobi.
