There have been speculations about upcoming APC presidential primaries since President Buhari had a meeting with the party to identify who his successor will be. Although the president did not specifically mention a name, he mentioned some characteristics which he will be looking out for.
Meanwhile, Jacob Obinyan, the Senior Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on New Media has spoken up on who he believes will be the party’s presidential candidate despite the odds of election. Jack Obinyan, who was also a Commissioner for Water and Energy Resources in the then Bendel State, expressed this view in a post on his verified Facebook page, where he identified the initials of the presidential aspirant, who will win APC’s ticket.

According to him, the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai as well as the governors of Borno, Nasarawa and Kastina state were already in the know of this development whereas the rest were hinted today. In his words, Jack concluded that the primary election like he has always said, will be just a ceremonial.
He wrote thus:
Governors like El Rufai, Nasarawa, Borno and Kastina already knew before today that it is PYO… The rest were “hinted” today… Then 48 to 24 hrs before the Primaries it will be sealed… Then primaries like I always said will be ceremonial”.

Meanwhile, it seems that the special adviser, Jack Obinyan is a staunch supporter of the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and has even used his image as his profile on Facebook.
