A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Human Rights Activist, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has taken a swipe at Peter Obi for choosing a fellow southerner as his running mate.
Recall that Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party has picked former Presidential aide, Doyin Okupe who hails from Ogun State as his running mate.
Reacting to the development on a Nigerian Newspaper, The Nigerian Tribune which was shared on his official Facebook page, Adegboruwa noted that Peter Obi has chosen a Christian/Christian ticket as if he is oblivious of the trend of things in Nigeria.
He alleged that Peter Obi who claimed to be leading a revolution is seeking to take Nigeria back decades in time with the Christian/Christian ticket just like the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, a Muslim who picked a fellow Muslim as his running mate.
