Nnewi has been in disarray after the popular Nnewi Industrialist Chief Dr Cletus Ibeto CON dared Igwe Nnewi by constructing fence on the land the monarch told him is Nnewi Civic and Cultural Centre (Nkwo Nnewi Triangle). Those present in the meeting like Chief Edwin Ibeanu told bellnews online.com and bell Newspaper that Ibeto told Igwe to his face that he will not stop the work save Nnewi wins him in court.
Though bellnews is yet to here directly from Dr. Ibeto but he definitely continued constructing the fence against the directive of Igwe Nnewi and the construction is being supervised by the Vice President Nzuko Ora Nnewi Prince Jude Osumuo who was suppose to be impeached last week during meeting, but they refuse to hold the town meeting for frivolous reasons.
However, this afternoon some men of the task force just landed and are currently pulling down the fence.
Recall that some offended youths have earlier pulled down the fence, before Ibeto reinforced and returned to site using brutal force.
Bellnews is no longer interested on who owns the land at present, but keep wondering why Ibeto refused to listen to the 96th year old monarch of Nnewi when he asked him to hold on.
