Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in an interview with the Arise News stated that he is not aware that his party lost the gubernatorial election in Osun state.
According to him, he is yet to hear a former announcement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He further said he hasn’t yet spoken to Governor Oyetola, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
It has been a celebration galore for the People’s Democratic Party following Senator Ademola Adeleke’s victory in the Osun state gubernatorial election.
Gboyega Oyetola, the incumbent governor of Osun State lost his re-election bid to his closest rival, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
When questioned about what he would do as the National Chairman of the ruling party if Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the presidential election in 2023, he stated that he doesn’t count his chicken before they are hatched, so they will only see his fair side after the general elections in 2023.
