An aide to the former Executive Governor of Anambra State has called the attention of the State Government to the ongoing industrial Park in Akwaihedi by Hon. Chris Azubogu, insisting that the project has passed the 18 months given by the Anambra State Government for completion.

He insists that the administration of Governor Obiano gave Hon. Azubogu 18 months to complete the project when he told them in writing that the money for the project is already mapped out and that the only obstacle is the State Government.

Recall that in December 29th, 2016, that Anambra State Government handed over 80 hectares of land belonging to three communities in Nnewi South and Aguata Council Areas to Hon. Chris Azubogu for the development of an Industrial Park.

Handing over the C of O for the land, Governor Obiano revealed that THE ONLY CAVEAT TO THE AGREEMENT IS THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MUST DEVELOP THE LAND WITHIN 18months, failure of which THE LAND WILL AUTOMATICALLY REVERT TO THE STATE.

The aide to the former Governor told bellnews online.com that the agencies of government responsible should go through the records and revoke the land and use it for more realisable projects.

At the point of filing the report all efforts to reach ex-Gov. Obiano failed , but the link below was submitted as evidence to the aforementioned claims.
