While speaking with reporters, Bishop Anthony reacted to the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress by saying that the party cannot stand if they are promoting religious sentiment.
According to Bishop Anthony, he said that the All Progressives Congress is not sensitive enough.
In a circular society like ours, a ruling government benefits from the democratic dividend. How can they cut off the tree on which they are standing and expect not to fall?
He added that if the All Progressives Congress is promoting religious sentiment in the country, then how can the party stand because they know it cannot work?
Lastly, Bishop Anthony said that how can the All Progressives Congress tell people that all the members of the party who are Christians are not competent to be running mates to their flag-bearer?
He also advised Christians to brace up for the 2023 general election.
