7 People Killed Were ESN Members And Not Not Wedding Guest – DSS

The Nigerian Department of State Services in Imo State has finally reacted to the death of several youths in Imo State alleged to be mistakenly killed by security operatives.

This is coming amidst the outrage and protests by the residents in Imo State over the killings and the call for the deactivation of the South-East security outfit identified as Ebube-Agu.

However, in a statement disclosed to journalists in Owerri, Imo State capital, the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) insisted that the victims killed in Imo State were members of Eastern Security Network (ESN) and not guests coming from a wedding ceremony as claimed.

The Department of State Services disclosed that the victims were members of the criminal gang terrorizing Awo-Omama in Imo State.

Recall that the Imo State governor also identified the victims killed in Awo-Omama as criminals and not innocent youth as claimed by the residents.

This incident reportedly happened in the Awo-Omama Area of Imo State after security operatives alleged to be DSS killed several gunmen alleged to be ESN members.
