There is jubilation in Anambra State as one of its distinguished sons, business magnate, and philanthropist, High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi, also known as Ikenga Umuawulu, was honored as the Investor of the Year 2023 at The Sun Awards ceremony held on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
The prestigious award recognizes High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi’s significant contributions to the country’s development through his extensive investments across various sectors of the Nigerian economy, including hospitality, real estate, and construction. Additionally, the accolade acknowledges his commitment to human capital development and job creation initiatives nationwide.

High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi (Ikenga Umuawulu) is a renowned Nigerian business tycoon and philanthropist hailing from Umuawulu in Awka South LGA of Anambra State. He serves as the Chairman/CEO of Pinnatech Group, a conglomerate offering services in various sectors including ICT, real estate, hospitality, construction, and civil engineering.
Under his leadership, Pinnatech Engineering has successfully executed numerous road and building projects, installed solar street lights, and drilled boreholes across the country for the Federal government. Additionally, Chief Ndubuisi is deeply invested in empowering entrepreneurs through programs focusing on ICT, fishing, poultry farming, and other sectors. He has also sponsored individuals to pursue education abroad.
A significant highlight of his commitment to human capital development is the establishment of the tuition-free John Angel’s Secondary School in his community, Umuawulu, reflecting his belief in the transformative power of education.
