An aspirant from Otolo has responded to the false narrative by a blogger claiming that Igwe Nnewi HRH Igwe Dr K.O.N Orizu III JP CON has mandated aspirants to step aside. He describe the claim as false and sponsored by those who want to hijack Nnewi.
Recall that some months back, Igwe Nnewi urged Mr. Governor both in writing and video to obey the wriiten zonning agreement in Nnewi which clearly stipulates a single tenure for both Local Government and House of Assembly, the quater President Generals including that of Otolo Nnewi and Nzuko Ora Nnewi all from the Royal family lineage signed a counter against Igwe Nnewi and ensured he was undermined before the whole world.
Following the above development ndi Nnewi will be shocked if Igwe Nnewi should further comment on zonning arrangement; especially, when the said zonning arrangement is signed by same actors who undermined his authority.
A member of the Royal Family addressing bell news online said that the Chairman of Nnofo family is a card carrying member of APGA and at no time did Igwe Nnewi asked him to direct aspirants to step aside.
We should remember that during the last turn of Otolo, Umuenem contested vigorously against Chukwudi Orizu to the extent that the enmity that came out of that election lasted till date
Public opinion has clearly shown that Nnewi has no viable zonning arrangement until Igwe Nnewi spoken and written letter is obeyed by the Mayor of Nnewi North LGA stepping aside for Nnewichi community, any thing outside that is an invitation to anarchy and the public will resist it whole and entire, because what is right in Nnewi is not what favours a particular interest.
