The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has criticized the frequent defection of former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, from one political party to another.
Speaking on Wednesday during his monthly media chat, Wike said Obi lacks leadership skills.
Speaking further, the FCT Minister stated that Obi is always quick to dump a party whenever the party faces challenges, rather than staying back to resolve them.
Bellnews reports that he also took a swipe at the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, over his recent emergence as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum. Wike wondered how Makinde could be declared as the chairman of a one-member forum.
“Bala has gone, and Seyi now said he’s the chairman of PDP Governor’s Forum. How can you be the chairman of one member?
“Obi was in APGA. He couldn’t build APGA and left eventually. He came to PDP and said one man is dominating everything. He went to the Labour Party, but they had a crisis, and he ran away to ADC. Now, ADC has problems, and he has ran from ADC to NDC. All he’s looking for is food is ready, mama-put, food is ready,” Wike said.
