The duo of Dr. Edwin Chukwuma and Rev. Dr. Ifeanyi Epunam led five Support Groups on a Courtesy visit to Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah at his Country Home in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi Anambra State on the 30th of December 2022 in what can be described as a landmark event, as a result of the warm reception accorded them, the Prophetic Prayers offered and the disbursement of foodstuffs,gift items and cash appreciation from the Senator.
Speaking to the Editor of Vintage Newspapers,Dr. Edwin Chukwuma has this to say:” We are here this morning to see our Distinguished Senator, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah in respect of the accident he had sometime ago and to give him our solidarity support.
Here we have about 5 Support Groups. We have Team New Nigeria ( TNN), we have Capital Ambassadors, we have Ndiakwu Development Union, we have where the mother came from, his maternal home,Umuezedum and we have SweetHome Africa Foundation.
These are the Support Groups that are here today to pay him a courtesy call.”. Asked what else they came for, he replied:” We are also here to inform him that we are supporting and mobilizing for him because he is our own person.
We have looked into his antecedents in the past. He has been a Senator just one term and seen the marvelous things he has done, mostly for his Senatorial District. So we are giving him our full support.
In what he is telling the people of Anambra South, he said he is asking them to support him for him to go and complete his job, saying:” We have seen his development projects. They are not hidden,they are known to everyone”.
On the various philathropic gestures of the Senator, he replied: ” Apart from being a Senator, Ifeanyi Ubah is a very good Philanthropist. He is a very nice man. Having money is not the issue but to have the heart to spend the money.
He is well known for his humanitarian activities and that is why we are supporting him. On his prayers for him, he prayed for God’s protection and for him to win the forthcoming election. In his comments, the Convener of the visit Rev. Dr. Ifeanyi Epunam, said:” I made it possible with the Ndiakwu Community of likeminds to come and visit him because his mother is from here, especially after the his attack and to show him that we care and to pray for him and release some prophetic words into his life.”
On the message, he replied: “As a Humanist, who have been in the corridors of power for many years,it is for us to support him, because with the political revolution going on in Nigeria now,every region need a quality, vibrant and bold man to go to the Centre and get their share. This is a man who has invested his fortune and life in humanity right from his childhood.
His Investment in politics is for him to better the lives of men and women in the society. His name is a goal. He is a golden fish.” In his prayers for him, he prayed that his blood will not be shed by the wicked and that the blood of Jesus will protect him.”
