- The governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Governor David Umahi On Friday released a statement during his interview with Journalist after his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari stated that despite the projected votes for Peter Obi, the All Progressive Congress will win the 2023 Presidential election.
Speaking on the reason for this assertion, David Umahi noted that the acceptability Peter Obi has gathered does not mean he has what it takes to defeat the APC in 2023. “He may not see it, but that does not mean Peter Obi will not get substantial votes in the south east” Umahi Said.
David Umahi further revealed that Pete Obi’s candidacy would prepare a good ground for Igbo Presidency. He noted that the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is well positioned to win the election, as their structure and the spread of APC within the country would assure them victory.
