Why I Left APGA For Labour Party – Sen. Victor Umeh

A former Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Victor Umeh has stated that he joined the Labour Party because of the capability of the presidential candidate of the political party, Peter Obi.

He made this known today in an interview with Arise News Television.

Victor Umeh, who is the Labour Party senatorial candidate for Anambra Central District stated during the interview that Peter Obi invited him to join the Labour after he failed to get the Peoples Democratic Party ticket.

The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance noted that he has known Peter Obi even before the formation and the registration of APGA in 2002.

He hopes that Peter Obi’s presidency if elected in 2023 will be different from the two major political parties that have ruled the country.
