Popular and highly rated Activist, Broadcaster, Social Critic and Public Servant, Chief Chijioke Okolo has cried out on behalf of the masses. Speaking with Multiple Award Winning Journalist, Don Peter Okoro in Nnewi recently, the foremost Entertainment Guru and Music Maker said concerning the state of the Nation: “”What is hurting my mind and paining me is the way the masses are suffering. Look at the way people are going about, you’ll see that they are totally confused. You see them moving about talking to themselves ( Soliloquizing).

You think they are mad, but they are not. It is hardship, hunger and frustration. Most of them are confused.Look at the youths, instead of working, most of them are into Yahoo and all sorts, despite all the security agencies are doing to them. It’s like they have no option. Some of our girls have gone into prostitution as a result of frustration. Let us provide work for them and convince them to work. The problem of insecurity in Nigeria is very horrible, especially in the South East. Release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at least for a month so that there can be peace, you refused. If Government is for the people, why don’t you release him so that we know that Government is truly for the people.

So many people can no longer go to their villages anymore. As Christmas is approaching, a lot of people have no plans of going to the village, because many have been rendered homeless.

I pray that God will change the mindset of our Governors and Senators. I’m not talking of the Federal aspects because I have no interest there. Thank you.””
