In a significant legal move, Shaibu has initiated legal proceedings against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo – the PDP governorship candidate for Edo State, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to reports from Naija News, Shaibu is seeking a court order to nullify the election held at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin. This election resulted in Ighodalo being declared as the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming 2024 governorship election in Edo State.
