Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, Femi Adesina, Joseph Ugboaja, Emma Bishop,Dozzy Oil,Chisco, Others, have Bagged Prestigious Hall Of Fame Award.

The Centre Of Excellence was thrown into a wild frenzy and excitement on Sunday, the 13th of November 2022, when the 3rd Edition of the Prestigious Hall Of Fame Award 2022 held at the prestigious 5 Star Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Men and women from different works and walks of life converged at the venue to either receive their Awards or cheer up their loved ones. It was indeed a momentous occasion as the Awardees shone bright on the podium like a thousand stars.

 

Introducing the Prestigious Hall of Fame Award, the CEO of Prestigious Universal Magazine ( PUMA), Comrade Mc- Goshen Ndubuisi Onwuzo Jnr. stated that the Award is a divine vision of PUMA.

In his words:”The Prestigious Universal Magazine which was founded in 2008 first started as Pure Heart Magazine, published by Pure Heart Global Communications Limited, with her first office located in Nnewi, Anambra State Nigeria.

This great vision was designed to be an Event Magazine that would cover Social Events, Political Events, Sports and Entertainment.” Continuing, he said:”As part of it’s program to encourage Human and Community Development,PUMA initiated the Prestigious Hall Of Fame Award as a means to honour deserving Nigerians.

The Prestigious Hall of Fame Award which is an Annual Event is designed to recognize men and women who have excelled in their various fields of human endeavors and contributed to the development of the society and humanity.

Prestigious Hall of Fame was launched on the 14th of September 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotels, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State, Nigeria. After the 2018 maiden edition, we were preparing big for the 2019 edition before the world was hit by the COVID 19 pandemic which extended till 2020. And in 2021, we had our 2nd edition in Istanbul Turkey.”

Comrade Onwuzo congratulated all those being honoured and urged them to continue with their good works, while assuring Invited Guests to expect their turns in subsequent editions.

In a brief chat with Don Peter Okoro, shortly after the event, Comrade Mc- Goshen Ndubuisi Onwuzo Jnr. when asked to describe his mood and assess the event, has this to say:” First of all, the event was a huge success and I’m very happy with the people that turned up to grace the occasion.

The Awardees also turned up to receive their Awards. I thank God so much for making it a success. At the same time,I also want to appreciate my Boss, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah who stood beside me to make it an epoch making event. I also want to thank my bosom friend,Amb. Dr. Joachim Aforjama the CEO of Big C Real Estate & Properties.

I thank him so much for believing in me and coming in as a major sponsor of this event. I also thank my good friend and ally,MC Orange, Ifeanyi Nwankwo and my brother Rev. Dr Ifeanyi Epunam of SweetHome Africa for his immense contribution towards the success of the event and everyone that came around to make this event a super one. I’m so happy that the event went on smoothly without any hitch whatsoever, which is by the grace of God.”

On the motivation behind the show and how he was able to restart it after the pandemic, he replied:. ” Actually, nobody motivated me. This is an inborn passion that I have. It is a passion.

I want Prestigious Hall of Fame to become a Household Name in Nigeria, Africa and the whole world as far as Award is concerned. It is the passion I have for this Award that keep on gingering me. Despite the fact that 2019 and 2020 were years taken over by the Corona Virus,I did not relent. Immediately we stepped into 2021, with the lifting of the ban on mass gathering, I struck again and as God would have it, we hosted the 2021 Edition which was the 2nd Edition in Istanbul Turkey and it was a success. I have passion for it and that is my motivation.”. On those who couldn’t make the list, he offered: ” You know we can’t have everybody on the list at the same time. We had to prune down the numbers of the Awardees. Bearing in mind that we couldn’t do the Award in 2019 an 2020, the list became very long, but we managed to cut it down. It is not that we have forgotten those that couldn’t make the list or that we don’t acknowledge their contributions which are deserving of honour, but the fact remains that we can’t carry everybody at the same time and I plead with them that in subsequent editions they will be considered.”. On his message to the Awardees and the need to keep the prestige of the Award intact, he answered: ” Our key point in giving out these Awards is to honour those who have done something good for the society and humanity especially in terms of human capacity development. My message is that they should not relent in their good works. Having been appreciated like this,they should see this as a motivating factor that would propel them to reach out for more goals. They should continue to do good. They should improve on wherever it is that made us to notice them in the first instance. Somebody can be awarded up to two or three times in different categories. The fact that you have been awarded before does not mean you can’t be awarded again. . I equally want them to be good Ambassadors of Prestigious Universal Magazine and The Prestigious Hall of Fame. One thing is to receive an Award and another thing is to be a part of that project and making sure that the project goes viral and for the Brand to meet the standard that has been set. I’m also calling on them not to leave everything in my hands alone, together,we can move it to the next level”. Asked what advice he has for the youths, he offered:”. Yes,thank you very much for this particular question. My sincere and candid advice to our youths remains that we should be hard-working, but more importantly, in everything, we should always excercise patience. If you are doing something and that thing is not yet working out, don’t be depressed, keep at it, be focused and develop passion for it. There is a saying that: ” Passion Gives Birth To Success”. If you have passion for whatever you are doing, it will make you to focus on it. This short cut of making money cannot take us anywhere. If you look at how they are killing our youths today because of crime; how they burn some of them alive and how they gun some of them down, you will feel very bad that this is one generation that is just being wasted. So, I feel so bad when our youths are committing all kinds of crimes like cybercrimes, kidnapping,armed robberies and all of that. I feel so bad. At the same time, I want people to realize that crime can never take you anywhere. It will only bring disgrace to you and your family, whether you are alive or dead. The dent of that crime will remain indelible in that family from generation to generation and it is just too bad. I’m just throwing a word of advice that we, the youths should seek the way of goodness and be law-abiding citizens. Crime cannot lead us anywhere. This is my message to the youths. Thank you very much.”
