Fr. Kevin Ugwu has reacted to an audio posted on Fabeook by BBC News Igbo on Wednesday, 15th of June, 2022, the founder of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka lambasted the 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi, citing his “stinginess” as one of the reasons he will never become the President of Nigeria.

Father Ejike Mbaka claimed that Peter Obi is under “a poisonous curse”, as he defiled the altar of God and until he comes to kneel at Adoration Ministry and plead for forgiveness, he will not get anywhere near the Presidency in his life.

The Enugu fiery Catholic priest also claimed those campaigning for Peter Obi are wasting their time, effort and money on a failed project.

Some Nigerians have reacted to Father Ejike Mbaka’s public rant against Peter Obi and a Malawi-based Nigerian Catholic priest, Reverend Father Kelvin Ugwu was stated his honest opinion on Father Ejike Mbaka’s claim that Peter Obi’s stinginess will prevent him from winning presidential elections.

In a post via his official Facebook handle, Father Kelvin Ugwu explained the difference between prudence and stinginess and also claimed that people use the two words interchangeably, but make use of “stinginess” deliberately because it implies a negative connotation.
