Popular Nigerian lawyer, Ned Nwoko in his recent interview with BBC News Igbo has said that they will like the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, to come back to People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
From his statement in the interview, he said that Peter Obi will do well as Minister of Economy.
The reason according to Ned why Peter should leave Labour Party, LP to PDP is because LP has no structures.
Ned agreed to the fact that Peter Obi has millions of fans who are willing to vote him in without collecting a dime, but for him to remain in LP and contest for presidency is out of equation, infact, his chances of winning is low.
Below are excerpts of what he said during the interview,
“Peter Obi is a good man, I’ve known him for many years now. He’s a capitalist, a big time player in the business world but very conservative the way he handles money.
We’ll like him back in PDP. I will like to be one of those that will encourage him to come back.
“Peter Obi will do well as Minister of Economy. Nigeria economy will begin to turn around in the next eight years if he’s there.” he added. Click hereto watch the video
