Despite warnings from Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, members of the human rights group known as the “Take It Back Movement” have taken to the streets of Lagos to protest against the steep rise in food prices and the overall high cost of living in Nigeria.

The demonstrators, holding placards bearing various messages, congregated at the Ojuelegba under-bridge area of the state, aiming to draw attention to the widespread economic challenges facing the nation.
