NNEWI LOSES YOUTH HERO.

On Monday, the 26th of June 2023, the Industrial City of Nnewi, in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State was thrown into deep mourning over the death of a Youth Hero, Comrade Godwin Ayasa a.k.a. SKB.

The sad news of his death threw the whole of Ezekwuabor, Otolo-Nnewi and indeed Anambra State into a state of shock as the information began to spread around.

The first hint of his death came through a viral message on the Facebook handle of Celebrated Journalist, Publisher and Incumbent Member of the Anambra State House of Assembly representing Nnewi North, Hon. Sir Augustine Ike Ikedoji.

As soon as the news appeared on his Facebook Handle, condolence messages started pouring in from all over the country.

The late Mr. Godwin Ayasa who is a one time President General of Otolo-Nnewi Youth Forum has been described as a great man whose actions spoke louder than words.

Speaking to bellnewsonline.com the senior brother, Ichie Donatus Ayasa who is the CEO of Godfather Bread Industries Ltd, Ezekwabor, Otolo-Nnewi, expressed regret over the sudden death of his younger brother .

In his words:”I’m SKB’s senior brother and as God would have it, he died yesterday.

In any condition, we should learn to thank God for everything, but it is very very painful, but I pray that the Almighty God will grant him eternal rest. May he rest in peace.”

On the kind of person he was, he replied:”SKB was a Great Man. He is well known all over Anambra State. He acts like a Soldier.

He is a very practical man.I thank God for everything and may God allow him to rest in peace.” On his Condolence Message he offered:” I pray that God will give us the fortitude and grace to bear the irreparable loss.

By the grace of God, he left behind a wife and 6 children and all of them are now under me. I know it is a very heavy load, but we must survive under any condition.”

Adding his voice, the Manager of Godfather Bread, Mr.S.Francis, said:” Ichie Donatus Ayasa happens to be my Boss.

We are mourning the death of his younger brother, SKB alias Omatadikemma. If you saw the crowd of people that came here yesterday, you’ll know that he was a really great man. It was awesome.

I pray that God will make provisions available for us to see to the proper upbringing of the children he left behind. We also pray that God will welcome his soul.”
