The Industrial and Commercial City of Nnewi Anambra State of Nigeria was thrown into a heartwarming and monumental jubilation on Thursday the 7th December 2023 when the Foremost Successful Christian Businessman and Gospel Music Superstar, Evangelist C.J.Osim bagged an Honourary Doctorate Degree from the prestigious Masterseed College of Bishops and Ministers Network Inc. USA and Nigeria, under the leadership of Archbishop Prof. Emma David Okafoagu JP2.
The ceremony which took place at the Headquarters of the Masterseed College of Bishops and Ministers Network attracted so many eminent men and women of God including the Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Anambra State, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, Archbishop Dr. Cynthia Adaoma, Archbishop Dr. Titus Orji, Archbishop Dr. Raphael Umeh, Bishop Alphonsus Ubido, Bishop Godwin Igwilo, Prof. Ugochukwu Nwanonyuo Apostle Godwill Ebowusi and over 30 other Bishops and Senior Ministers of the Gospel. In a brief chat with Award Winning Journalist Don Peter Okoro, Evangelist Dr. C.J. Osim said when asked to described his feeling;”I feel very happy and honoured.It is wonderful to be recognized and honoured.
This Award of a Doctorate Degree will act as a booster and spur me on to achieve more. This is very encouraging and I thank God first of all for this great opportunity. I also thank the Presiding Archbishop,Prof. Emma David Okafoagu and the entire leadership of Masterseed College of Bishops.
I’m immensely grateful and I assure them that I will be a good Ambassador of this great Ministerial Institution.” As a role model, what are his words of advice to the youths, he replied:”I encourage the youths to be focused and be determined to succeed. They should forget the idea of getting rich at all costs. They should acquire skills and put the skills to good use.
They should direct their creative energies towards things that are productive and meaningful. They should stop worrying. The Bible says that:”Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you.” Like me for instance, I don’t worry.
I allow things to take their natural course. So, I’m calling on the youths to dedicate themselves to worthy and laudable causes. They should work very hard and put God first in everything they do. Once they make Jesus the Cornerstone of their lives, everything will fall into place. I believe very much in Jesus and my desire is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ round the world.” As a Successful Christian Businessman, Evangelist Dr. C.J. Osim is very proud of his Christian heritage of truthfulness and honesty.
