Mr. Tunde Solomon, the Operations Manager of BON Hotel Nest in Bodija estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, has tragically passed away as a result of the explosion that occurred at Dele Oyelese street on January 16, 2024.
The hotel management confirmed his death in an official statement, revealing that Mr. Solomon suffered a heart attack during the explosion, ultimately leading to his untimely demise.
The statement expressed deep regret, saying, “We regret to inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved Operations Manager, Mr. Lode Solomon. Mr. Solomon suffered a heart attack on the 17th of January 2024, and it is believed that it was a consequence of the explosion which occurred on the 16th of January 2024 at Bodija.”
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Tunde Solomon was acknowledged as a highly dedicated and valuable member of the BON Hotel Nest Ibadan staff. The statement highlighted his significant contributions to the hotel’s growth and the broader BON group during his tenure.
