Labour Party Chairman, Julius Abure, Arrested by Police

The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure, has been apprehended by the police in Benin City, the capital of Edo State.

Abure was taken into custody on Wednesday on charges including attempted murder, among other alleged offenses.

His arrest reportedly came following a petition submitted by the Labour Party Youth Leader, Comrade Eragbe Anselm Aphimia.
