The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said that the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike worked against him in the just concluded 2023 Presidential Elections.
Obi who appeared on Arise Television on Monday, disclosed that despite Wike’s efforts to make him lose, he won 50% of the votes in the South-South State.
Obi said; “In Rivers, where you know the Governor came out against me in everything, if the real votes in Rivers were counted, I won. I have over 50% of the votes, the other two parties were sharing the other(sic).”
It can be re-called that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was declared winner of the Presidential Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
