Former Presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Governor Nyesom Wike, on Monday while inaugurating the dualised Ogbunabali/Eastern Bypass road in Port Harcourt, released a statement where he stressed that even if he is taking away from the People’s Democratic Party, he will still perform.
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Governor Sanwo Olu, as well as the former Governor of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, his entourage and other dignitaries were present during the inauguration of dualised Ogbunabali/Eastern Bypass Road.
Governor Nyesom Wike stated during the inauguration that Leadership is not about party but about individuals. He stated that party is only a vehicle that to actualize your ambition, to be able to tell your people that you have the capacity and quality to render services to them. “If you take me away from PDP today, I will still perform” Wike said.
