How Army Killed Our Top Commander – Captured Terrorist Revealed

A report from Bellnewsonline reveals that troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) in conjunction with Multi-National joint task force have neutralized scores of Boko Haram / ISWAP terrorists in a clearance operation in Borno State and in a border town between Nigeria and Niger Republic.

As the troops carried out the operation, they also captured two terrorists and rescued hostages from the terrorists hideouts at Garimwanzan in Niger Republic. Intelligence report reveals that some of the troops were killed on Sunday after the troops staged an ambush against the terrorists in Bama Local government area of Borno State. The troops achieved this feat while acting on credible intelligence that some remnants of the insurgents were coming to the market to engage in some transactions.

In the battle that ensued, the troops rained heavy fire on the terrorists, instantly killing seven of the terrorists while one of them escaped. The terrorists that escaped the onslaught, arrived at the camp of a top commander of the terror group, and communicated to him that his men were killed by Nigerian Army. However, the commander quickly mobilized and headed to Bama town where they attempted to attack the troops of 21 Armoured Brigade. Arriving the location, at about 6:40 pm, the terrorists began shooting sporadically and causing paninc amongst residents.

The troops however, were on alert as they responded immediately with heavy gunfire, thereby making the terrorists retreat.
