Starting today, Thursday, February 8th, 2024, Nnewi, the bustling industrial and commercial hub of the South East, gears up for a thrilling sports extravaganza as the 25th Edition of the ENIC Tennis Tournament kicks off. Players, officials, stakeholders, and enthusiasts are set to converge on the city this evening in anticipation of the exciting event.
Action-packed matches are scheduled to commence from 10:00 am tomorrow, Friday, February 9th, with the tournament set to culminate on Saturday, February 10th, 2024.
In a brief conversation with the President of Nnewi Sports Club, Hon. Dr. Ugochukwu Uzodike, he expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament, labeling it as “The Super Four” edition, promising a gathering of tennis elites from across the nation.
Dr. Uzodike extended a warm invitation to all tennis enthusiasts, urging them to witness the spectacle as skilled players vie for medals in various disciplines including Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Scrabble, Table Tennis, and Draught Board.
