DSS Arrest Joseph Onuorah, The Coordinator of Obidient Rally In Lagos State.

According to bellnewsonline.com, it has been gathered that the Department of State Services has reportedly arrested a Lagos State coordinator of the rally organized by the supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi. It was gathered that the coordinator who was identified as Joseph Onuorah was arrested when he arrives in Lagos on his way from France during the early hours of Saturday.

A witness disclosed that Joseph Onourah, the coordinator of the Lagos rally for Peter was arrested. It will interest you to note that several states and places held rallies to demonstrate their support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

The supporters of the Labour Party, popularly called “Obidients” were seen gathering in critical locations across Nigeria, including Kaduna, Edo, Kaduna, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauch, Warri, etc to rally for Peter Obi.

It will interest you to note that the supporters in Lagos State started the walk from the Admiralty Junction moving through the major road in Lekki.

They were carrying Nigerian flags to commemorate the 62nd Independence Anniversary Celebration. The police were stationed at Lekki Toll Gate to prevent the supporters from converging at the venue based on a court order.

The court directed Usman Baba, the Inspector General of Police, and Abiodun Alabi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to ensure compliance with the court injunction. The conveners of the rally disclosed that the reason for the rally is to garner organic support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party ahead of next year’s presidential election. The question many Nigerians and political analysts are asking was whether the Labour Party is the third force that will displace and dethrone the APC and PDP.
