Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has stated that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar will not allow Governor Nyesom Wike to bring the party down.
Melaye stated that the miscommunication between Atiku and Wike was a trivial problem.
Melaye stated on Channels Television on Friday that people are increasing the situation between Atiku and Wike.
“Democracy is noisy and at times disagreeable, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to tear down the roof,” he remarked. Governor Wike said he would not tear down the PDP’s roof.
“Atiku Abubakar would not allow anyone, not even Wike, to bring the PDP down. I’m telling you that PDP is one big, dependable family. These are minor annoyances.”
“Governor Wike is entitled to his reservations.” He has a right to complain about one or two things. I’m not going to go into detail about what he’s talking about, but he’s upset about one or two things.”
“And, as I already stated, Governor Wike and Atiku Abubakar have communicated.” ” They are still discussing it.” People are exaggerating the situation. It’s normal.”
Atiku and Wike have been at odds since the PDP’s presidential primaries.
The governor is upset that Atiku neglected him and chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running partner.
