In a heavyweight bout held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Anthony Joshua emerged victorious against his Cameroonian opponent, Francis Ngannou, delivering a devastating second-round knockout to continue his pursuit of becoming a three-time world champion.
Following the fight, a video surfaced on X (Formerly Twitter) showing Joshua offering words of encouragement to Ngannou, advising him not to abandon boxing.
Joshua expressed, “You are an inspiration. Don’t leave boxing again.” To which Ngannou responded, “No, I will not.” Joshua reiterated, “Don’t leave boxing. Do it, don’t leave boxing.”
In the ring, Joshua took the microphone and delivered another heartfelt message, stating, “I just gonna do my best every time and go home. Nothing changes for me.”
