Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, popularly known as Ogilisi Igbo, commended Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo, for his silent revolution in the state, asserting that it will bring about significant changes.
Ogilisi Igbo, a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), lauded the transformative projects underway in Anambra under Soludo’s leadership, predicting that they would surprise the Igbo people.
He highlighted the development of Ekwulobia city, particularly the construction of a magnificent flyover, likening it to the transformation seen in cities like Dubai and Taiwan. He emphasized that what Soludo is accomplishing in Ekwulobia will soon be replicated in other cities and towns across the state.
Ogilisi Igbo dismissed comparisons between Soludo and previous leaders, asserting that the governor’s actions will speak for themselves. He expressed optimism about Ekwulobia’s future, especially with the construction of the grand cathedral of His Eminence Okpaleke.
However, Ogilisi Igbo cautioned against blaming all the state’s challenges on Soludo, urging Anambra citizens, especially elders, to take proactive steps in their communities rather than solely relying on the governor.
He emphasized the importance of community action in addressing issues, stating that individuals must not remain silent in the face of wrongdoing. Ogilisi Igbo called for patience from the people, urging them to trust in Soludo’s vision for the state.
