Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Mr. Bayo Ojeyinka as a Permanent Secretary in the Anambra State civil service. The appointment, made on the basis of merit, has garnered praise from civil servants in the state for its recognition of deserving candidates.

Mr. Ojeyinka, originally from Osun State, has been an integral part of the Anambra State public service since 1995, when he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in the state. He was recognized as the best serving corps member during his service year and was subsequently retained by the state government.

Expressing his gratitude for the promotion, Bayo Ojeyinka stated, “I am deeply honored to have been considered for this appointment. I view it not as a right but as a rare privilege, considering that many other talented officers were equally deserving. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Governor Charles Soludo for this recognition and to the people of Anambra for their unwavering love, kindness, and support during my 29 years of residency in the state. I am committed to repaying the state with heightened efficiency, productivity, transparency, and fairness in my duties. I also extend my appreciation to my colleagues and to the Head of Service, Her Honour Barrister Mrs. Theodora Igwegbe, for their tremendous support. I pledge to meet the high expectations placed upon me.”
