During the crossover night service on Sunday at Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, assured Nigerians that 2024 holds better prospects. However, he cautioned that challenges would precede the improvement.
Adeboye shared his prophecies for 2024, emphasizing the need for prayers amid the prevailing circumstances in Nigeria. He stated, “For Nigeria, the wind is already blowing. The wind is blowing. Everything God is saying is centered around that little sentence. The wind is blowing; include in your prayers that the wind will blow you well. Things will get worse before they get better. Things will get a little hotter before it gets better.”
While encouraging hope and readiness to seize opportunities in the coming year, Adeboye asserted that the challenges are temporary, and a positive change is on the horizon. He added, “Because the wind is blowing means things will get better. Some people will start as nobody but will become significant before the middle of the year.”
Expanding on his prophecies, the cleric foresaw divine interventions globally in areas facing challenges. He prophesied breakthroughs in the treatment of incurable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and others.
Reflecting on his 2023 prophecies, where he anticipated a more peaceful world and a year filled with opportunities, Adeboye reiterated that troublemakers would lose their ability to cause strife, a prediction he fondly referred to as his favorite. As is customary, Nigerian pastors often share annual prophecies, and Adeboye continues this tradition by offering guidance and hope for the upcoming year.
