Adama Joseph Adama anywhere in Apa/Agatu LGAs and other parts of Benue State and what greets you is a warm smile in appreciation of what the young man has done within a short while of his Business and Political career. Picture him as a Business Development Consultant and you got it right. See him as a successful Entrepreneur with a cutting edge Business Interests spreading across agro-allied industry, to education, to banking to information technology (IT) and so on, you’ll have a very good image of our subject matter. These and more are what our Man of the Moment, Hon. Adama Joseph Adama represents.
He is the Founder of Enadama Group which comprises of Viable X Agribusiness Ltd and Ceepass Digital Bank. He is also the Founder of Eliaversity in Ghana among others. Hon Adama is a man of viable and workable Business and Political acumen and sagacity. He is into Business Planning/ Development, Project Management, Product Development, Negotiation and Marketing. He is also a Software Developer and Web Designer.
Adama Joseph Adama is equally as highly respected Political Player who comes from a politically vibrant family. In the year 2007, he was a key resource person for Dr. Samuel Ankeli ( Former SSA to President Buhari on Disability) when he ran for the Federal House of Representatives election in Apa/ Agatu Federal Constituency.
In 2010/2011 Hon. Adama Joseph Adama was a Special Assistant to Prof. Senator David Iornem, the Campaign Director General of the Prof. Steven Torkuma Ugbah’s Gubernatorial Campaign Organization on New Media.
He built and managed the Campaign website and Social Media accounts to market the Governorship Candidate of the then Action Congress of Nigeria ( ACN). He was a member of the Fundraising Think tank for the Senator Abba Morro Campaign Organization.
When Adama returned to Nigeria in 2015 after his studies in Ghana, he first joined the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) and became the President of the SDP Youth League, Benue State chapter. He later contested for the Benue State House of Assembly election in 2019 under the People’s Redemption Party ( PRP) but lost.
In 2023, Hon. Adama Joseph Adama ran for the office of the Federal House of Representatives to represent the good people of Apa/ Agatu under APC. He won the Primary election but was shortchanged during the uploading of Candidates to the INEC’s portal. The matter was taken to court and after going to the Federal court and Appeal court up to the Supreme court, the Party Leaders in Benue State; Senator George Akume, Audu Ogbe and Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, prevailed on him to withdraw the case from the Supreme court in the interest of the Party, which he obediently did and went on to campaign for his opponent. A spirit of sportsmanship that was really cherished by the Party Leaders especially the present Governor of Benue State Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia.
Hon. Adama Joseph Adama is a highly educated young man with two Masters Degrees in Business Administration. One from the University of Chichester in the U.K. and the other from the Swiss School of Business Research, Switzerland.
He has a First Degree from Zenith University College Ghana and Association of Business Executives(ABE), UK. He equally obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from OTHM U.K and is presently a Ph.D. Candidate with the Swiss School of Business Research Switzerland.
Hon. Adama Joseph Adama holds a Royal Award from the Ooni of Ife as a Member of the Royal Court of Ife. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), U K.
Certified Management Specialist U.K., Associate Member of the Association of Business Executives (AMABE), UK, Fellow, Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC), and Fellow, Institute of Management Specialists, (FIMS) UK.
Hon. Adama has a very robust and articulate Political Philosophy which among others are to provide basic amenities for the rural and urban Communities, humanitarian intervention for the poor and vulnerable, creating conducive environment for private enterprises to thrive, developing policy framework for public and private sector partnership. He also believes that Government has no business running business, but to be an Enabler.
He believes in Capitalism and Free Trade. As a Pan Africanist, he is of the opinion that all Africans are one in culture, trade and shared heritage and that the Global North should not be allowed to divide us.
Hon Adama Joseph Adama is happily married to Blessing Ekoja and they are blessed with a daughter: Season. He is a Christian born on the 25th of April 1985.
