As Nnewi community is trying to manage her public image after the last appointment incidence, His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo visited Nnewi today and was almost ran over by desperate politicians who were not invited to the function. Being strictly a Government Function the Governor knows too well that is the prelogative of Hon. Nonso Okafor the member representing Nnewi North Constituency in the State House of Assembly or that of Mr. Obinna Ngonadi PhD; the Honourable Commissioner for Trade and Commerce. However, bellnewsonline.com gathered that some none state actors who were not invited to the government function and have no business being therein gatecrashed took photo and refuse to address the press after the exercise as a lot of persons are itching to listen to them face the camera in English language. When our correspondent tried to interview one of them he declined speaking to the press but was eager to snap with the Governor.
However, Ndi Nnewi were happy when his Excellency stopped over to condole with Eze B mom and excited when the official report of the governor refused to mention none essential persons.

Soludo Awards More Roads in Nnewi

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has awarded more road projects in Nnewi.
The Governor embarked on assessment tour of the very bad roads in Nnewi including, Ogbufo, Okpunoeze Uruagu Nnewi, Umudim Road, among others.
Speaking at Okpunoeze Uruagu Nnewi Road, the Governor who has been working round the clock to ensure Ndi Anambra enjoy true dividends of democracy, disclosed that the road has already been awarded for construction, saying that he came personally to inspect the road and feel the pulse of the people by himself.
“I assure you that the Contractors will commence work on the road soonest, once the rain subsides.
“This constructed road will go all the way to Teaching Hospital and Nkwo Nnewi.
“We are very particular about roads that play very vital roles in the lives of the people. We want to ensure that communities are linked together because that is one of the ways to enthrone economic prosperity in the state”. Governor Soludo assured
The people in response thanked the Governor for the good work he is doing in the state, saying that the Ndi Anambra will continue to support him to deliver on his promises.
The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Obinna Ngonadi, Chief of Protocol, Chinedu Nwoye among others joined the Governor on the road inspection.
