Festus Keyamo, the official campaign spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu was invited to speak on some issues ahead of the 2023 campaign and election on Arise TV News. He spoke mainly about APC and it’s candidate, while criticizing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) whom he saw as the main opposition and threat to APC during the polls next year.
Arise TV News correspondent asked him if he was discarding the weight and might of the other candidates such as Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) that will participate in the election, and he said that they brought colors into the campaign.
He said that he praises what they’re doing, as they have raised some consciousness into the electorates, especially the youths.
Festus Keyamo stated that outside the Southeast, Peter Obi is a carpetbagger and the APC also suspect that he is a trojan horse for PDP and Atiku Abubakar. He stated that he wants to warn Peter Obi’s supporters that he may be leading them to nowhere.
He however noted that the Peter Obi and the Kwankwaso movement will do well in the polls and he praises them for their strides. But the APC have done their demography and there’s nothing to worry about.
