In a wireless message marked “Most Immediate” and dispatched from Force Headquarters Abuja, several Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) were reassigned to new commands and departments across the country.

The Inspector-General of Police, Olutunji Disu, has approved the redeployment of several senior officers across key departments and formations of the Nigeria Police Force, according to an internal wireless message from Force Headquarters, Abuja.

In a wireless message marked “Most Immediate” and dispatched from Force Headquarters Abuja, several Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) were reassigned to new commands and departments across the country.

The reshuffle saw AIG Ado Emmanuel move into Research and Planning at Force Headquarters, while Joseph Eribo was directed to Armament.

Miller G. Dantawaye was posted to Operations, and Henry Ifeanyi Uche to Training and Development. Olanrewaju Peter Ogunlowo was assigned to Accounts and Budget, while Dahiru Mohammed, took charge of Zone 15 in Maiduguri.

Dankombo F. Morris was sent to Zone 4 in Makurdi, and Bello Shehu to Zone 14 in Katsina.

Other postings included Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba to Legal Services, Ahmed Musa to Community Policing, and Olohundare Moshood Jimoh to Zone 2 Lagos.
