The Governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the nomination of six individuals for appointment as commissioners.
The commissioner-nominees are Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh, Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli and Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna.
Others are Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo, Prof. George Ugwu and Ben Collins Ndu Jr.
According to a statement signed on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the names have been forwarded to the Enugu State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Governor Mbah has also appointed Dr Godwin Anigbo as the new Head of Service in Enugu State. The appointment takes immediate effect.
