The President, Muhammadu Buhari has taken to his official Twitter page to lament following the report that over sixty-four members of the Boko Haram terrorists escaped from the Kuje prison.
According to information gathered from a reliable source, the Minister of Defense, Bashir Magashi, on Wednesday made it known that over sixty-four members of the Boko Haram terrorists had escaped Kuje prison.
It was reported that gunmen attacked the facility on Tuesday, with explosions, and gunshots were heard from the direction of the correctional center located in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Based on these notes, the President, Muhammadu Buhari has taken to his official Twitter page to reveal that he is saddened by the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Center, Kuje, adding that he is very disappointed with the intelligence system.
Further speaking, the President, Muhammadu Buhari asked how can terrorists organization have weapons, attacked a security installation, and still get away with it? Adding that he is expecting a comprehensive report on this shocking incident.
This is sad and unfortunate, and according to the President, Muhammadu Buhari, the intelligence system should have done more in preventing such a thing from happening.
