Nasarawa State Southern Zonal Chairman Of Peter Obi Candidacy Movement, Victor Laka, has revealed that 15,000 northern youths and women in the state have decided to support the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
He told newsmen that the youths were tired of being deceived by politicians, adding that they are ready to make things right in 2023.
According to a report published by Bellnews Online, Laka said that the youths in the state are supporting Peter Obi because he did very well in Anambra and they have great confidence in him.
He also made it clear that more youths are ready to declare their support for Obi.
“We are tired of all the politicians deceiving us that they will provide good governance.
This is what we are trying to correct in 2023. We have great confidence in Peter Obi because he did very well in Anambra state.
We believe he will do better if he is elected as president in 2023.”
They also claimed that life has been difficult for the youths, which is why they seek good governance.
