The President General of Umunwanyi Igbo Amaka Global, Prophetess Dr. Mrs. Mummy Oluchi Elijah Ojukwu has sent a Message Of Congratulations to the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu on the auspicious occasion of his 64th Birthday Anniversary which took place on the 18th of October 2023.
In a Release issued by the President General of the Foremost and Dominant Igbo Women Organization, the Governor was described as a man with a Golden Heart whose act of Charity, Sympathy and Kindness goes beyond the borders of Cross River State.
The President General recalled his monumental achievements as the Senator Representing Cross River South in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, later Chairman,Senate Committee on Banking and Other Financial Institutions as unprecedented.
According to her, he is known for his Human Empowerment and Societal Development Programmes which led to his being endorsed for re-election by the Buhari Youth Organization.
Born on the 18th of October 1959, he had his early education in Calabar and Jos and later bagged a Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Calabar.
He emerged the Winner of the March 18 2023 Governorship election under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State with a total of 258,619 ahead of Sandy Ojang Onor of PDP who scored 179,636.
He is happily married to Rev. Mrs. EYOANWAN Bassey Otu and the marriage is blessed with children. It would be recalled that the President General of Umunwanyi Igbo Amaka Global, Mrs. Mummy Oluchi Elijah Ojukwu is equally the Founder/ President of Voices of Widows and Needies,an Organization that is heavily dedicated to meeting the needs and wiping the tears of the Widows and Needies across board. She has so far established Nursery Primary and Secondary Schools in Imo and Anambra States where almost all the Pupils and Students are on Full-time Scholarships as well as the establishment of Hospitals/ Clinics where Patients are treated at little or no cost.
Every last day of the month, she carries out Empowerment and Disbursement Programs for Widows, Needies, Orphans, Physically Challenged and other Vulnerable members of the society where foodstuffs, clothing materials and cash gifts are presented with the money realized from the Tithes and Offerings of God’s Weapon Deliverance International Church where she is the General Overseer.
