About 10 others were also ordained alongside him. Speaking to bellnewsonline.com shortly after the Ordination, the Prince, who will now be addressed as Rev’d Prince Kenneth Onyedikachukwu Orizu said:

“The long awaited Deaconate Ordination happened today. I thank God for giving us a fair weather and for making everything successful.

I also thank the Lord Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt. Rev’d Ndubuisi Obi for making the Ordination Colourful and Successful.

I’m praying that God will give him more Grace to continue in the good work he is doing.

I also thank the Igwe and Members of his Cabinet for coming to felicitate with me.

I pray that God will give them long lives especially the Igwe.

Just as I’m very pleased and excited today, that’s how it’s going to be for everyone that is rejoicing with me today. I also want to use this opportunity to thank everybody that have supported me so far, in the course of this journey, I pray for double blessings upon them. God will continue to lift them up and grant their heart’s desire and cause doors of favours to be opened for them including their families. And I also pray that all the people that came from far and near will go back safely in Jesus name.”.

In his own comments, his brother, Prince Engr. Ezeafia Orizu, a Masters Degree Holder from the University of Benin and a staff of the National Engineering Design Institute( NEDI) an affiliate of NASENDI; who is also a Solar Engineer dealing on Solar Energy, said he felt very very happy about the event.

In his words:”We thank God that it has become a successful reality. In fact, I was so overwhelmed and shed tears of joy in the Church especially when the Archdeacon was singing in Latin. I felt so touched and happy.”. On his prayers for the newly Ordained Priest, he offered:”My prayer for him is that he will definitely make progress. He will rise from one level of glory to the other. Since he has started very well, he will continue to do very well and make full proof of his Ministry. I also pray that no weapon fashioned against him shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against him shall be condemned. No enemy shall locate him physically or spiritually. He will continue to excel. Where others failed, he will succeed and God will keep blessing him in everything he put his hands to do.” On his advice to the Nigerian Youth, he replied:”My advice to the youths is that even though many of them may not have the financial backup to finance themselves; what I’m advising them is to calm down and be focused. For those who are not doing anything tangible, I call on them to acquire Skills and do something worthwhile with their lives They should calm down and discover their Talents. Once you are able to discover your Talents, the sky is your limit. But they should not be in a haste to make the money. Trying to become a Millionaire overnight is a very bad and risky step. If they start thinking in that direction, they will stop thinking positively. If all they think about is how to make quick money, it will be detrimental to their well being and might eventually destroy them, but if they calm down and discover their Talents, they will do exploits.Thank you.”

Prince Engineer Ezeafia stated that even though he is not an Evangelist or Ordained Minister, he loves God and like doing the things of God. And that if it pleases God to one day in the future call him to His service, he will gladly consider it, but for now, he wants to concentrate on his Engineering and Solar Energy career.
